the light

through the light
through the night
as darkness fades
my rears dry away
that i run in fright
away from the light.

judgment

you judge me
by such wrong means
i care nothing for you words
let anything you think of me
i am different in many ways
that may seem wrong to you
but it seems right to me.

the past

try to hid from the past
letting go of everything that was true
making it seem like it was nothing at all
as it repeats itself
finally had enough of the pain
the pain that hurts deep within the soul
the darkness that always seems to be with you
it's a part of you
you can't ignore it
you have to face it.

wear the darkness
like a winter coat
and cry the tears
for the end of innocence
the darkness of a broken heart
no more sipping the days

touch the stars
within the possibilities?
within the lines?
happiness is setting on my shoulder
always a breath out of reach.

pass me by

my breath catches with the speed of light
the air stops around me
you look at me with such wonder
that makes the heat rush to my face
the times has stopped
the wind makes your hair flow
just as the rain goes
the rainbow shines above our head
cause your every where so near
when i close my eyes it's you i see
the sun refuses to shine
out of the back you fall into my arms
than i open my eyes and see reality facing me
as you walk away never glancing my way
but i still wait for that day you do
which i know won't happen anytime soon.
